
The Liberia National Police says it has closed down several businesses and Entertainment Centers for violating the COVID-19 health protocols in Voinjama City, Lofa County.
A release from the LNP said these businesses and Entertainment Centers were in violation of not closing at the 9 PM deadline announced by the Ministry of Health. The businesses include: Under the Tree Bar and Restaurant owned by CENTAL ARZUARKOI, Telbomai Community, Planet Entertainment and Food Center, Telbomai Community, Sadou Zawododamai Business Center, Alpha Jalloh Business Center and the Fofa coffee center.
According to the statement, these businesses will remain closed until full payment of their fines are made.
Meanwhile, Lofa County Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police, William Wuo Johnson has warned all residents to obey the health mandates announced by the Ministry of Health. He added that he will work with other Joint security institutions to ensure that citizens and residents of the county strictly abide by the health protocols.
