KDHRT Executive Appeals for Sponsorship

The director of the Kokoyah Diabetes & Hypertension Research Team, Melvin Dowah is pleading with humanitarians, goodwill embassadors and philanthropists alike for sponsorship.

According to Dowah, KDHRT is a research program aimed at testing adults between the ages of 45 up to 70 for possible treatment or medical advice.

“For now,” Mr. Dowah said, ” KDHRT is not offering full treatment for patients because she’s still in need of sponsorship from noble institutions like TSDFI and humanitarian entities.

As a five-man medical team, KDHRT began its operation at the beginning of August and has tested 32 plus adults mainly from Behwee and Quoikaporta and part of Kpanquoi.

The head of KDHRT, Dowah stated that his team still needs some of instrument like SPO2, BP Cup, and finance to enable them to be geographically mobile.

Melvin Dowah is a graduating senior at the Baptist College of Missionary Physician Assistant.

Since he began his internship, Dowah has served as an intern at C. B. Dumbay Hospital, Jackson F. Doe in Nimba, ELWA, among others.
