New COVID-19 Cases Rise to 133 Says IMS

Liberia has recorded 103 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of active cases to 2,326.

The Incidence Management System (IMS) in its last update on Monday, July 5, 2021, registered 104 new cases in Montserrado County, followed by Lofa County with 10. Maryland and Nimba Counties have 5 each; Margibi County has 4 and Bong County 3, while Grand Bassa and Grand Cape Mount Counties recorded 1 each.

IMS indicates that the number of fatalities remains at 133 and no new recoveries were recorded at the reporting date of Saturday, July 3, 2021.

The health authorities are also monitoring 22 new contacts, bringing the total number of contacts to 1,568.
