
The program is characterized by series of engagements that run for five days in Kakata, Margibi County.
The Chairperson of the Association Ruth Walker disclosed that the Association will be conducting awareness in seven communities targeting schools and markets.
Madam Walker noted that the awareness will include providing information on family planning and distributing contraceptives and menstrual pads.
She said women of reproductive age and Adolescent girls are the targets of the community engagement.
Meanwhile, this year’s International Day of Midwives is being held under the theme, “One Hundred Years of Progress”.
