In the Sugar Hill Community of Gbarnga City, Bong County, a shocking incident occurred as a 36-year-old woman was arrested for burying her newborn baby alive.
The woman, whose name has been kept confidential, has been charged with murder and is currently awaiting trial.
According to the initial inquiries made by the police, the woman revealed that she committed this heinous act as her fiancé had refused to support her during her pregnancy.
The woman stated that she had no choice but to dispose of the child as the father had denied the pregnancy and refused to take any responsibility.
