A man, aged 52, has been taken into custody for pretending to be an AFL soldier in order to free his daughter from police custody.

Mohammed Massaquoi, a 52-year-old man, is now begging for forgiveness after attempting to pose as an Armed Forces of Liberia Officer to secure the release of his daughter, Mawatta Kromah, from police custody.

On May 2, 2023, Massaquoi was arrested, investigated, and charged with wearing a full army uniform to the Zone Five Depot.

The police discovered that Massaquoi not only wore the uniform but also pretended to be Major Abraham Quejamie of the Armed Forces of Liberia before getting arrested.
