CDC Lawmaker Abu Kamara breaks grounds for the construction of a modern school building to elevate the Boatswain Jr. High School to a senior high school.

Authorities from the Ministry of Education, community leaders, and students among others witnessed the ground breaking ceremony for the elevation of the Boatswain Junior High school to senior high division.

According to Representative Kamara, the move is intended to reduce the over crowdedness of classes at D. Twe High School and to meet the needs of the growing senior high school students on the Bushrod Island.

Speaking during the ground breaking ceremony, Montserrado County District #15 Representative, Abu Kamara also pledged 500 bags of cement and promised to zinc the entire building and two thousand United States dollars as his initial contributions.

For her part, the Principal of the Boatswain Junior High School, Madam Ellen Vallai lauded Representative Kamara for the gesture.
