Chief Justice Sie-A-Nyeneh Yuoh has challenged three newly appointed and commissioned Circuit Judges to always be custodians of the Constitution.
According to Justice Yuoh, a judge should not be swayed away by partisan demands, public clamour, or consideration of personal popularity or notoriety and not be apprehensive of unjust criticism.
The Chief Justice reminded the judges of the judicial canon nine which describes the constitutional obligation of judges to uphold and support the constitution and the laws of the land without any fear or favor.
