Due to Alleged Acts of Corruption and Lack of Administrative Direction, Borough Governor Moses Weah Suffers a Vote of No Confidence from the Legislative Arm of the Borough

The Legislative Arm of the Borough of Krutown has passed a vote of no confidence in the Borough’s Governor Moses Doe Weah for his alleged corrupt act and lack of administrative direction to govern the municipality.

The Legislative Arm is comprised of the Six Nominating Districts statutorily responsible to select and recommend the governor to the President of Liberia for onward appointment in accordance with the Act creating the Borough.

The body is also charged with the authority to impeach the Governor of the area for act or actions of incompetency, gross-insubordination to the elders and people of the community.

Addressing a news conference Monday on the Bushrod Island, the elders through their Secretary General Nyantee Sleh alleged that Governor Moses Doe Weah lacks the administrative ability to govern well.

Meanwhile, when we contacted governor Moses Doe Weah on the allegations against him, he promised our reporter to officially respond in the soonest possible time.
