Judge Roosevelt Willie Finds State Lawyers in Alleged Armed Robbery Case

The presiding Judge of Criminal Court ‘D’ at the Temple of Justice, Roosevelt Willie has fined prosecution lawyers in the alleged armed robbery case involving Varney Kiazolu alias Azonto and others.

The action of Judge Willie according to our reporter is based on Atty Samuel Flomo and Cllr. Boakai Harvey alleged failure as state lawyers to serve the defendants’ counsels indictment before proceeding with the case.

It can be recalled defendants Varney Kiazolu alias Azonto, Morris Bah, Abu Sheriff, Nicole Peers, Walloh Gibson, Boakai Boyce, Emmanuel Borbordee and Alex Kollie.

Others are Daniel Carter, Lawrence Wheagar, Tokpah Emmanuel, Nehemiah S. Digs Puppies Zayzay, Melvin Debbah and others to be identified were charged by the state with the crimes of armed robbery, Criminal Conspiracy, Aggravated Assault and Criminal Facilitator.

But during Monday’s proceeding in the matter, defence Lawyer Atty. Garrison Yealue Jr. prayed the court to have the prosecution to provide the full copy of the case.

Following the defence counsel, pray to mandate the prosecution to provide them the case indictment, the prosecution lawyers conceded, something according to our judicial reporter prompted the judge’s actions to fine them fifty United States dollar each.
