The Liberia Land Authority,, in collaboration with World Bank and Swedish organization, Lantmateriet, has kicked off a three day consultative workshop to validate the land rights act regulations of the country.
The three day workshop is under the objective to gather views, input, comments and expectations concerning the nature and content of the draft regulation of participants as well as key issues.
The Other is to review the input and comments of participants and incorporate then where appropriate inorder to finalize and validate the regulations.
Speaking during the opening of the workshop at the Belle Casa Hotel in Monrovia, the Chairperson of the Liberia Land Authority, Atty Adams Manobah described the Liberia Land right act as the best in Africa.
According to him, the land right act in Liberia gives hope to everyone including citizens and foreigners .
Going further, he explained that the intended purpose of the workshop is to ensure regulations are approved on the implementation of the land right law.
