LNP Forwards Man to Court for Commiting Multiple Crimes

Amidst efforts aimed at curbing crime rates at many ministries and agencies of Liberian Government, the Auto Theft Section of the Liberia National Police(LNP)has arrested, and forwarded to court a man identified as Timothy Synyenlentu, an employee of the General Services Agency (GSA) for
multiple crimes he allegedly committed.

According to an unimpeachable source, the preliminary probe conducted by LNP, established that on Saturday, June 12, 2021, suspect Napoleon P. Johnson who happens to be driver of the China Aid Projett situated at the Ministerial Complex, Congo Town, conspired with suspects Synyenlentu and another inductees known as Abdul Sow, alias ”Solo”, and clandestinely made- away with a Silver Toyota Hilux pick-up liscence plate number A-611852 & VIN# JTGEB73J3F9014558 belonged to the China Aid Project ,and the car was parked far at the Ministerial Complex for safety.

Meanwhile, the CCTV recording and call log assessment by the police investigators established a link and interaction amongst suspects Synyenlentu, Johnson, ‘Solo’ and others; therefore, LNP thereby ordered that the three accused be forwarded to court for subsequent arrayment for justice to take its course, the press release of LNP was quoted as saying.

Despite the facts and circumstances surounding the stolen vehicle, the Liberia National Police has ultimately resolved to levy charge against suspect Synyenlentu of commiting multiple
crimes of Auto Theft/ Theft of Property, Criminal Conspiracy and Criminal Facilitation, which runs contrary toLNP Charges and Forwards Man To Court For Multiple Crimes.

The Auto Theft Section of the Liberia National Police has arrested, investgated, charged and forwarded to court a man identified as Timothy Synyenlentu, an employee of the General Services Agency (GSA) for
multiple crimes.

During police preliminary probe, it was established that on Saturday, June 12, 2021, suspect Napoleon P. Johnson an employed driver of the China Aid Projet located at the Ministerial Complex, Congo Town conspired with suspects Synyenlentu and Abdul Sow, alias ”Solo”, and criminally made away with a Silver Toyota Hilux pick-up bearing plate number A-611852 & VIN# JTGEB73J3F9014558 belonging to the China Aid Project which was parked at the Ministerial Complex.

The CCTV recording and call log analysis by the police investigators has also revealed the involvment and connections amongst suspects Synyenlentu, Johnson, ‘Solo’ and others to be arrayed before, during and after the commission of the crime.

Inview of the facts and circumstances surounding the stolen vehicle, the Liberia National Police has resolved to charge suspect Synyenlentu with the Commission of the crimes of Auto Theft/ Theft of Property, Criminal Conspiracy and Criminal Facilitation, acts which run contrary to Section 15.51, 10.4 and 10.2, of the Revised Penal Law of the Republic of Liberia and forwarded to court subsequent adjudication.

Meanwhile, suspects . Johnson and ”Solo”, who are at-large, are charged in absentia with the crimes of Auto Theft/Theft of Property, Criminal Conspiracy and Criminal Facilitation,
just in that order.

Meanwhile, it was established during the police preliminary probe
that on Saturday, June 12, 2021, suspect Johnson chauffeur of the China Aid Projet located near the Ministerial Complex, Congo Town , conspired with suspects Synyenlentu and Sow, also known as ”Solo”, and clandestinely made away with a Silver Toyota Hilux pick-up liscence plate number A-611852 & VIN# JTGEB73J3F9014558 that is said to belong to the China Aid Project, and the vehicle was parked as far as the Ministerial Complex for safety.

Predicated upon a superficial assessment coupled with the CCTV recording and call log by the police, it was realized that the three inductees have some link though criminally and would process them to be forwarded to a court of competent jurisdiction for adjudication.

Inview of the facts and circumstances which surrounded the alleged stolen vehicle, the Liberia National Police ultimately resolved to levy three separate charges including Auto Theft/ Theft of Property, Criminal Conspiracy and Criminal Facilitation against Synyenlentu, acts which, according to the code of conduct, run contrary to Section 15.51, 10.4 and 10.2 of Revised Penal Law of the Republic of Liberia

Meanwhile, suspects . Johnson and ”Solo”, who were reported to have been at-large, were charged in absentia with the crimes of Auto Theft/Theft of Property, Criminal Conspiracy and Criminal Facilitation, respectively.
