
The National Elections Commission has released the initial results for the second phase of the Biometric Voter Registration for nine counties, revealing that over 1 million voters have been registered thus far.
Davidetta Brown-Lansanah, Chairperson of the NEC, disclosed that Bong County had 237,463 registered voters, while Grand Gedeh County and Grand Kru County had 64,061 and 42,729 voters, respectively.
Further updates were provided by Madam Lansanah, who shared that Lofa County had 177,892 voters, Maryland County had 69,034 registrants, and Nimba County had 308,421 voters.
River Gee County, Rivercess County, and Sinoe County also had substantial numbers of registrants with 37,912, 40,201, and 56,011 respectively.
