As part of the effort to improve monitoring and evaluation in the education sector, President Weah will officially turnover Land Cruiser Jeeps to 15 education officers across Liberia
The vehicles will be turned over to the Education Ministry next Monday at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Congo Town.
According to reports, the gesture is in fulfillment of the Liberian leader’s promise made to the MOE in March of this year.
The gesture will enhance the monitoring and evaluation process of public schools by the Ministry of Education in Liberia.
One of the key objectives of the Liberian leader’s gesture is to ensure teachers are in class and administrators are supervising public schools; something that is said to be moving slowly, but ultimately coming to reality.
It can be recalled; the Ministry of Education in March of 2022, also distributed motorcycles to District Education Officers to help improve the monitoring of schools.
