According to the Liberian leader, without peace, the country will not develop infrastructure wise.
Speaking Tuesday, President Weah told Liberians that peace is important for the growth and development of every nation, stressing that without peace the world will be difficult.
He further indicated that as the country celebrates 200 years of existence, it is important for citizens to come together and continue maintaining the peace in Liberia.
The Liberian chief executive stressed that the country has suffered a serious setback as a result of unstable peace, something he noted that the only way the country can get back on the right path is through the continuous maintenance of peace by citizens.
President George Weah added that people who normally thank him for maintaining the peace should at the same time appreciate the citizens of the country for the years of peace the country continues to enjoy.
