President George Weah has declared the alarming surge in the number of vulnerable youths throughout the country as a pressing matter that demands urgent attention.
He emphasized that the situation is not only concerning for the Liberian government, but it also poses a significant threat to national security, especially with the upcoming presidential and legislative elections on October 10, 2023.
The Liberian leader expressed his distress over the future of the youths, which has been jeopardized by their increasing involvement in illicit activities.
