Representative Yekeh Kolubah of Montserrado County District #10 raised concerns to the House of Representatives regarding the alleged actions of his former security, Abu Kieta.
Kolubah claims that Kieta led a group of Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency officers onto his property without his consent and without a warrant from a court.
He further stated that Kieta confiscated three motorbikes and three sets of television from his property.
Kolubah brought this issue to the attention of his colleagues and requested that the Minister of Justice and the Director of the LDEA clarify under whose authority the invasion of his premises occurred.
Additionally, he asked that all confiscated items be returned to him.
The House of Representatives responded by assigning the matter to the National Security Committee for investigation and a report to be delivered within two weeks.
