Grand Bassa County Senator, Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence on Thursday presented to the Senate three Coveted International awards.
Senator Lawrence who is also Chairperson of the Senate Statutory Committee on Rules, Order and Administration (ROA) on March 12, 2022 bagged the prestigious awards from the Global Premier Edition of Ladies in Business Magazine based in Dubai, the UAE for her advocacy and fight for the rights of women and children in Liberia.
The Grand Bassa Legislator is the first Liberian female politician to receive the SHE GLOBAL AWARD for outstanding political leadership.
Senator Lawrence also received an award of EXCELLENT LEADERSHIP ROLE IN THE LEGISLATURE AS ONE OF LIBERIA’S BEST SENATORS by the Liberian Community in the UAE.
During a brief ceremony in the Chambers of the Liberian Senate, President Pro-Tempore, Albert T. Chie on behalf of the House of Elders extolled Senator Lawrence for the three awards, noting “It brings proud to the Senate, as well as the Country.”
