Senatorial Aspirant Leads Protest Demanding Lawmakers Take Drug Test Amid Accusations of Drug Dealing and Use by Government Officials

Mr. Chernor Jalloh, a senatorial aspirant from Montserrado County poised to replace Senator Saah Joseph, has announced his plan to lead a group of over two thousand individuals to the Capitol Building. Their aim is to protest and demand all lawmakers take a drug test.

Jalloh has claimed that the legislators are the primary importers, dealers, and distributors of narcotic drugs throughout Liberia.

According to him, the protest is necessary to force the lawmakers to undergo drug testing, as they are drug dealers who are ruining the youth.

Jalloh has also revealed that after the Capitol Building, their next protest will be at the CDC headquarters and President Weah’s Jamaican Resort.

He has accused President Weah and his cabinet officials of using drugs at these sites.
