Two Sent to Jail for Illegal Possession of Firearms

The Monrovia City Court at the Temple of Justice in Monrovia, on Monday, July 19, 2021, sent to prison defendant Abraham Coleman, alias Shaky, and Prince Toe, alias Mohammad Salah, for illegal possession of firearms.

Defendants Coleman and Toe have been charged with criminal conspiracy and illegal possession and sale of physical objects for lethal use.

Defendants Coleman and Toe were arrested, acquainted with their constitutional rights, thoroughly investigated, and subsequently charged by the Commission with the crimes of criminal conspiracy ,illegal possession of firearms, and sale of physical objects.

The Police charge sheet quoted that Inspector Charles O. Cassell, on Wednesday, June 12, 2021, at 9:45 a.m., received intelligence that unknown men were in possession of firearms and ammunition in the Tantono Town, Brewerville, where he arrested defendants Toe and Coleman with one UZI rifle and two UZI magazines.

Inspector Cassell explained that he saw defendant Coleman with one UZI rifle, two UZI magazines, eight live UZI rounds, 71 9mm rounds, 18 M-4 rounds and they were turned over for investigation.

During Police investigation conducted with defendants Coleman and Toe, they voluntarily admitted to the Commission the crimes of criminal conspiracy, possession and sale of physical objects for lethal use.
