On the occasion marking National Youth Day, the President of the Federation of Liberian Youth, Amos Williams, has called on the Coalition for Democratic Change-led government and the opposition community to collaborate with relevant youth institutions to design impactful programs for young people in the country.
Speaking to Dakpannah 24 News & Television on Friday, Williams stressed the need for national leaders and other political actors to hold talks with youth leaders across the country; something according to him, has not been realized for the past three years since the Coalition for Democratic Change took over national leadership.
He further indicated that many national stakeholders have been prioritizing youth development programs that will transform the society and shift the destiny of young people, noting that Liberian youths are left along the way without any empowerment strategies created by key policy makers in the country.
