The discussion of football in Liberia is bereft of its true definition, without mentioning the name Madam Rochell G.D. Woodson.- a no strange name in Liberia football history.
Her name rings a bell a lot to all football enthusiast in Liberia.
Madam Woodson is one of our own, a daughter from the home soil of the Putu Mountain, Nimba County to be precise, and she is popularly referred to as “THE IRON LADY OF LIBERIA FOOTBALL”.
We are pleased to introduce a distinct character and an astute personality, a person of good moral, accountability, reliable, trustworthy, hardworking, diligence and committed to the growth and development of football in Liberia since her involvement in the last 24 years.
Madam Rochell G.D. Woodson earns a Masters Degree in Public Administration, University of Liberia and currently pursing Masters in sports Management and Leadership at the University of Massachusetts.
Since her involvement with football, she has over the years served as President of Gardnersville FC 2007 -2009, President Fulani FC 2012, Member of the Executive Committee 2010-2018 and she’s currently the President of World Girls Football Club since 2018 .

Madam Rochelle G.D. Woodson has also served as member for the FIFA Women’s Committee 2011-2015.
She is the only Executive Committee member to served on FIFA Committee amongst its 211 members.

During her tenure, she worked on the landmark orange sponsorship the first in Liberia Football.
Arranged for Women’s football participation in FIFA international friendlies, Worked on the finance committee to produce the LFA financial manual.
She singlehandedly drafted the human resources manual and sent to the SG for final review and adoption.
This woman is the architect of the district league, and was part the advocacy for the Bility’s administration first time in football for government to provide funding for clubs qualifying for CAF championship.
She also advocated for clubs fundings and employees welfare.
Madam Woodson joined two former Presidents: Edwin Snowe and Izetta Wesley to worked on FIFA Committees, which Raji hasn’t been appointed.
