ANC Political Leader Says No Conflict in the CPP

Despite public belief that there are internal conflicts among members of the Four Collaborating Political Parties, ANC political leader has debunked the argument, clarifying that no conflicts exist within the CPP.

Accordingly, Liberia’s former Vice President Joseph Nyumah Boakai of the Unity Party and Alternative National Congress political leader Alexander Cummings have expressed their desire to contest on the ticket of the CPP in the 2023 Presidential and Legislative Elections in the country.

Political observers are of the opinion that unless the CPP puts its house in order, it will concede to President George Weah before the 2023 Presidential election.

Speaking in an interview with the Voice of America Monday, ANC Political Leader Alexander Cummings rejected the speculation of a crisis, but admitted that there is a competition.

Cummings denied allegations that his party is contemplating on bribing the delegates because the CPP does not know who the delegates are.

The CPP comprises the Alternative National Congress, the All
Liberian Party, the Liberty Party and the Unity Party.
