Former senatorial candidate Edith Gongloe-Weh has accused Senator Jeremiah Koung of winning the 2020 midterm senatorial election in Nimba County through rigging.

She also claimed that Vice President Joseph Boakai did not keep his promise of selecting a running mate who matched his character by choosing Koung, whom she considers to have a questionable character.
