In a leaked audio that has come into our possession, Senator Prince Johnson can be heard expressing his strong reservations about Senator Jeremiah Koung, claiming that he is unfit to be a running mate to former Vice President Boakai.
The audio, which lasts less than a minute, is believed to be a telephone conversation between Senator Johnson and an unidentified individual.
In the recording, Senator Johnson describes Senator Koung as negatively aggressive and questions whether he would remove Mr. Boakai from the presidency if they were to win the upcoming presidential and legislative elections on October 10, 2023.
Throughout the conversation, the controversial Governing Council Chair of the Movement for Democracy and Reconstruction continues to criticize Senator Koung, accusing him of arrogance and deeming it an undesirable trait for leadership.
It is worth noting that Senator Johnson has previously accused Senator Koung, who is both his kinsman and political ally, of being greedy and corrupt during the 2020 special election; however, he has yet to provide concrete evidence to support these allegations.
