Monrovia: The Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) is threatening punitive action(s) against executive members for failing to form part of the Voter registration exercise.
The measure according to the ruling party; is intended to increase partisans’ interest in the Biometric Voter Registration Exercise rolled out by the National Elections Commission.

CDC National Chairman, Molubah Morlu says the real enemies of the party are not oppositions; but rather partisans who deliberately refused to form part of the BVR.
Morlu believed that such individuals are on a mission to hinder the re-election of President George Weah.
Part of the measure is that; the Coalition for Democratic Change vows to take several actions including suspension of executive members and partisans working in government for failing to register in time.
This followed barely 24 hours after the National Elections Commission kickstarted Phase One of the Biometric Voter Registration in four counties including Montserrado, Bomi, Gbarpolu, and Grand Bassa which is expected to end on April 9, 2023.
