Monrovia: Presidential Hopeful, Dr. Clarence Moniba is demanding the immediate resignation of President George Weah for allegedly failing to provide a sustainable livelihood for all Liberians.
Dr. Moniba who holds the record as the youngest presidential aspirant is troubled by the failure of the Weah’s government to create a conducive environment to cater to the needs of the citizens.
Addressing a press conference, Monday, Dr. Moniba stated that it is now time for President Weah to relinquish his quest of re-contesting before any more damage is done to the country.
He believes that millions of Liberians are jobless and frustrated whilst others are searching for hope and leadership to liberate the country.
The Liberia National Union Political Leader added that President Weah made several promises to fight corruption, create jobs, and alleviate poverty, but stressed that the poor are now worse off than they were six years ago.
“We cannot afford another 6 years of a Weah presidency not because he is a bad man, but because he is unprepared and bad for the job of the president”. _ Dr. Moniba declares!
