During an interview at the Unity Party headquarters in Monrovia, Representative Kolubah expressed his concern about the selection of Nimba County Senator Jeremiah Koung as the running mate for former Vice President Boakai in the upcoming Presidential and Legislative Elections.
He suggested that former Vice President Boakai should take the responsibility of mitigating any conflicts stemming from this choice, as it could potentially harm the party’s chances in the October elections.
Representative Kolubah emphasized that former Vice President Boakai needs to demonstrate leadership to resolve any issues and bring dissatisfied allies back on board.
He also reminded Boakai that the journey has just begun and urged him to reconcile with those who have been with him for years.
Representative Kolubah stressed the importance of maintaining unity within the opposition and urged them to work together to win the election.
He challenged his colleagues to reach out to other parties and make friends in the opposition, emphasizing that politics is like gambling.
