Action Aide International Commences Training for Rural Women

Action Aide International has commenced a 2-day stakeholders inception training as part of its 7-day training in Greenville City, Sinoe County.

According to Program Manager James Peewee, the inception training is intended to enlighten and explain to stakeholders on their activities across the county.
He said Action Aide is implementing a project for the European Union through the title Securing Land Rights for Women and Rural Communities in southern Liberia, adding that the project is also to give women the right to own land and make commercial farms to compete with their male counterparts.

Peewee further stressed that the training will provide basic knowledge for the county’s local authorities to acquire adequate knowledge on the framework operations of the international organization in Sinoe County.

He also indicated that the project implemention is currently ongoing in ten communities across the county, expressing optimism that the program, when completed, will educate women to have full access to Land Rights.
