The Resident Judge of the 6th Judicial Circuit Civil Law Court has summoned the General Manager of Bea Mining Company Ozkan Umurhan and all corporate managers to appear before the court on September 20, 2021.
The named defendants are to appear and answer to the petition for cancellation of agreement of lease.
According to complainant William David Cooper, he entered a lease agreement with Bea Mountain for five years, commencing from November 1, 2020 to 2025 for a 3.05 lots of land.
Cooper said the land, located in Paynesville, is leased for US $90, representing payment for the first, second and third years of the lease agreement.
The petitioner said in keeping with the terms and conditions of the subject lease agreement, the respondent’s second payment was due on or before May 31, 2021.
Meanwhile, the petitioner has requested that the court orders Bea Mountain Mining Corporation to pay the amount of US $40,000 accrued rental payment owed by the respondent, and also the amount of US$70,000, representing payment for the last two years of the agreement.
