Defeated Montserrado District 12 Representative Candidate Gives Football Materials and Other Items to District Team; Calls on Others to do the Same

Ahead of the intra district tournament in Montserrado County, former Electoral District Number 12 representative candidate, Prince Kreplah has called on Representative George Samah and those he described as diaspora politicians to help support the district team.

Speaking Thursday in Barnersville Community, Electoral District Number 12 when he presented sports items to the district’s football team, former independent candidate stressed that it is now time for the District’s Representative, George Samah and others who participated in the 2017 elections to support the team ahead of the tournament.

Kreplah presented to the district football team several footballing materials, including two sets of jersey, footballs, boots and 215 sacks of water among others.

He also promised to make available 200 pieces of t-shirt within this week for cheering squad and 10 bags of 25kg rice for the maintenance of the team, adding that the Friends of Kreplah will take full responsibility of the team, including the provision of two big buses to be used by both the team members and cheering squad.

Kreplah further clarified that his gesture is not political, but an intervention to motivate and de-stress the players after he was recently confronted by some top residents within the district about challenges faced by the team.

“I wish the team all the best, even though I contested in the 2017 elections, but I did not win, but I am still doing all of what I promised my people; recreational activities will be high on my agenda in the interest of the citizens if I am elected in the 2023 elections. He averred.

Receiving the items, Garnersville Sub-committee chair, Michael Weah lauded the Friends of Kreplah for the initiative, terming it as a swift intervention and motivation for the district football team.
