River Gee County Senator Jonathan Boycharles Sogbie, has presented a 5.5kv generator worth over US $1500 to Gbeapo Radio 95.5 FM.
Making the presentation Monday on behalf of the senator’s office, Roland Beweh Weah said the gesture is in response to addressing some challenges, including power outage confronting the media institution; something according to him, Senator Sogbie obtained from one of the staffers at the station following a brief discussion they had.
According to Weah, the bran new generator will immediately lay to rest the challenge of electricity by the media institution, adding that Senator Sogbie is a media friendly member of the Liberian Legislature who is interested in the improvement of media institutions across the country.
Meanwhile, the donated generator was received by Habbakku Sayee on behalf of the station management.
