The management of the Liberian Agricultural Company (LAC) expressed sadness over the death of its employee, Emmanuel Joe.
Recently, Joe died in an industrial accident at the factories rubber processing plant while conducting routine maintenance.
According to a LAC statement issued on Thursday, August 26, 2021, management expressed sympathy to the family and described his death as a significant loss to the company.
The release quotes the General Manager of the company, Vijay Maira, as saying the company will work along with the LAC Workers’ Union and all stakeholders to ensure that the fallen employee be given a befitting burial and all benefits entitled to his family.
At the same time, LAC management assured the public that it would work with police and other government agencies to properly investigate the incident.
