The LFA will reopen the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) to the
general public this Friday, 22 April following the installation of the new flood lights which will be officially switched on.
A friendly encounter between Liberia’s 2022 ORANGE National League Champions Watanga FC and Freeport FC will mark the first game since the stadium was temporarily closed in January.
Liberia Sports Minister D. Zeogar Wilson will switch on the lights at a short dedicatory program before the match which will start at 18:00Hrs GMT.
The floodlights installation was one of two projects going on at the same time. The scoreboard, the other project is nearly 60% complete and will be dedicated upon completion in weeks.
