Liberia Football Association’s organized 2021 edition of the District Football Tournament officially came to an end on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia with District 17 emerging champion of the competition.
District 17 defeated District 15 4-3 in a post match penalty to walk away with a giant side trophy L$300,000 as a reward.
The defeated finalist, District 15, took home L$200,000 as a reward for their second place finish.
The regular time of play ended 0-0 before the match was decided on a penalty shoot out, which District 17 won.
Meanwhile, District 17 has joined District 16 and District 6 as winners of the competition.
District 6 won the first edition while District 16 won the second edition and District 17 is the winner of the third edition.
