Sports Liberia’ 1st Division Champions LPRC Oilers are Through to the Next Round of the CAF Champions League By Dakpannah 24 Posted on September 20, 2021 Share Tweet Share Share Email Comments Liberia’s 1st Division Champions LPRC Oilers set the record straight as they beat Togo’s Champions ASKO De Kara 4-2 on aggregated to qualify to the next round of the 2021-2022 CAF Champions league. Oilers won the first leg 3-0 at the ATS in Monrovia but loss the return fixture 2-1 in Lome, Togo on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Despite the defeat, the Oil boys still qualified to the next round due to the huge victory in the first leg. Next for Oilers in the competition is the 2021 CAF Confederation Cup champions, Raja Club Athletic of Morocco. Oilers will have to eliminate the Moroccans to reach the group stage of the competition. Oilers will be at home in the first leg scheduled between the 15th – 16th of October while the return leg will be in Morocco between the 22nd – 23rd of October 2021.
