Montserrado County Electoral District #15 Representative, Abu Bana Kamara, says all is set for his district team to return with the giant size trophy at the climax of the Inter-Districts Sports Meet in Montserrado.
Both Montserrado County Electoral Districts 15 and 4 are expected to play their first match on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the famous Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville, outside Monrovia.
In an exclusive interview with this media institution on Friday in Monrovia, Representative Kamara named the provision of football boots, sets of jerseys, transportation for the players, including the availability of buses for the team and spectators that will take them to and fro at the SKD Sports Complex.
The CDC lawmaker further vowed, through his office, to sponsor his district football team throughout the tournament, to motivate the players by providing all needed materials; something that according to Representative Kamara, he has been doing even before his ascendency to the district’s highest seat.
He admonished the players to produce the expected results throughout the competition, adding that he cannot disclose his surprise for the team until the players can put smiles on the faces of their spectators.
Meanwhile, Representative Kamara is calling on other prominent citizens within the district to support the players through technical team in whatever means, adding that it is not about him, but for the district.
He also called on companies, including private and public entities operating in the district to jointly contribute to the team.
