Top Football Executives To Visit Liberia

According to a statement issued by the Liberia Football Association (LFA) in Monrovia on Sunday May 2, 2021, the top Football Executives of both FIFA and CAF will visit Liberia at about 7:00PM on 4 May.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino and CAF President Patrice Motsepe, who have confirmed their visit to the country will meet with former soccer legend President George Manneh Weah, who is chief patron of sports. They are also expected to meet with executive committee members of the LFA, football stakeholders and school football competitions.
They will inspect ongoing and completed FIFA-approved projects, which were recently commissioned by President Weah.

CAF President Patrice Motsepe

Infantino and Motsepe, who are on a visit to Côte d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone and Liberia from 3–6 May, leave on 5 May.
The statement indicated that Liberia Football Association (LFA) President Mustapha Raji leaves for Abidjan, Ivory Coast on 2 May to form part of the visit of Infantino and Motsepe.

Raji, who is also a CAF executive committee member and Vice President for the West African Football Union (WAFU Zone A), will arrive with Infantino and Motsepe at the Roberts international airport on 4 May.
